Mena Alexandera Suvari is an American model, actress and designer. Born on 13 February 1979. Following a brief time as a model in the fashion industry and then a transition to acting, appearing as guest actors on television shows such as Boy Meets World in the 1990s, and High Incident. Her film debut came in the drama film Nowhere. Her roles were in American Beauty, for which she won the BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie led to her being the subject of more attention. In 2000, she was alongside her American Pie co star Jason Biggs. In 2001, she took on the main part in Sugar & Spice (2000). In 2002, she appeared in Spun the independent drama and in 2004's thriller Trauma. She also starred in the HBO series Six Feet Under. The show was an instant hit during 2004. In 2005, the Screen Actors' Guild nominated her as one of the outstanding cast members. In 2008, she was cast in a string of films which included Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and the adaptation film of The Garden of Eden. Suvari is featured in a variety of blog and fashion publications and blogs, such as Vogue. She's a Lancome model and appears on the advertisements printed in Lancome Paris Adaptive. She is an active supporter and campaigner for the African Medical and Research Foundation. Also, she is involved in issues of female empowerment and collaborates with various organizations to help raise awareness about breast cancer as well as women's rights and the End Violence Against Women Campaign. She is best known for her appearances in TV shows like Dark Angel Heroes The Chris Isaak Show Black Sash Reaper and most well-known of them all Rookie Blue. She's modeled for high-profile companies like Mercedes-Benz Sprint Canada, and Olympics. Missy's filmography includes the songs Stick It Backcountry Somewhat Red as well as wide Awake. Thanks to her skills, Missy did well with all three films. Missy is a very kind lady. In her spare time, she is volunteering for various charitable causes. She is part of a group that is non-political and dedicated to the creation and distribution of safe, affordable shoes in South America.
